You set it up
In the Savo platform, add your team, pick the dates, read the messages Savo will send, then review and send. The platform walks you through each one. Add your name to the invitation and welcome message, so people know who they're sharing with.
These are optional and best practice. They help more of your team take part. Savo doesn't send them, so send them yourself by email, chat or in person.

Subject: Your team's Savo invitation on [launch date]
Hi [Manager name],
On [launch date], your team will get a Savo invitation for a short, private voice conversation, about 10 minutes. I want to hear how work really gets done here before I set our priorities.
Please help in three ways:
- Encourage your team to take part before [close date].
- Describe it as listening, not a performance review.
- Don't ask anyone what they said. Answers are combined, and I see themes, not names.
Thank you, [Your name]
Note to your team1 to 2 days before invites
This is the note that matters most. The Savo platform shows you this note in the Messages step too. Send it yourself, since Savo doesn't.
Hi team,
As I step into this role, I'm excited to learn from all of you and want to start by listening. Before we set our priorities, I want to hear directly from the people who do the work.
On [launch date], you will get a Savo email invitation. The Savo platform runs short, confidential conversations so I can hear from everyone. It takes about 10 minutes, and you can do it whenever suits you before [close date]. Taking part is [strongly encouraged / required], and your answers stay confidential either way.
Why I am asking. You know how work really gets done here. I want to learn that from you directly.
What I will do with it. I will see the main themes and short quotes, with no names attached. I will use them to set our priorities, find early fixes and protect what is already working. Nothing you say will be used to rate or review anyone.
What is in it for you. Your view shapes what we change and what we keep.
Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective.

Say it at your next team meetingThe week of launch
Thirty seconds in a staff meeting or all-hands, so people hear it from you in person.
- I'm new, and I want to learn from you before I set priorities.
- On [launch date] you'll get a Savo email invitation. It's a private voice conversation that takes about 10 minutes, and you can do it any time before [close date].
- I'll see themes and quotes, not names. Nobody is being rated.
- This will help me shape what I do next, and I'll share what I heard.

| Timing | The invitation arrives with no warning. | Your note arrives 1 to 2 days before the invitation, and you mention it at a team meeting. |
