Jim Stratton is a technology executive and enterprise systems architect with deep experience building and scaling mission-critical platforms for the world’s largest organizations. Best known for his leadership at Workday, where he served as Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Technology and Architecture, Jim helped shape the company’s technology strategy, drive architectural consistency across product and engineering, and advance a pragmatic, responsible approach to enterprise AI. Over more than a decade at Workday, he led cross-platform initiatives, supported key acquisition evaluations, and helped evolve the architecture behind a platform serving tens of millions of users and processing hundreds of billions of transactions annually. Earlier in his career, Jim spent nearly 15 years at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory.
