What Happens With My Data After the Session?

Your data is stored securely, never trains AI, and you can request deletion

Once your Signal Session ends, here's what happens to your data — and what rights you have over it.

What gets stored

After your session, three things are retained:

  1. Your conversation transcript — a text record of what was said during the session. Stored under your pseudonymized code, not your name, not your voice recording.
  2. Scored insights — the dimensions and scores derived from your transcript (e.g., how you scored on dimensions relevant to the research). These are linked only to your pseudonymized code.
  3. Session metadata — basic information like session completion time and duration.

Your name and email address are stored separately in a restricted, access-controlled system. They are never stored alongside your transcript or scores.

How long is it kept?

Data retention is governed by the organization that invited you. If you'd like to know their specific retention policy, contact the person or team who sent you the invitation.

Your data never trains AI

This is a firm commitment. Your conversation is processed solely to generate insights for the organization that ran the session. It is never used to train or fine-tune Savo's AI models, or any third-party AI systems. Savo operates as a Data Processor — meaning your data is processed for your inviting organization's purposes only, not for Savo's own benefit.

Encryption and security

Your transcript and derived insights are: - Encrypted at rest — protected while stored on Savo's servers - Encrypted in transit — protected while moving between systems - Isolated — stored in a system that is fully separate from other organizations' data

Requesting deletion

You have the right to request that your data be deleted. To make a request:

  1. Contact the organization or team that invited you to the session.
  2. Ask them to submit a deletion request on your behalf.

Once a deletion request is processed, your transcript and derived insights are permanently removed. Note that some minimal metadata (such as the fact that a session occurred) may be retained for audit purposes, as required by Savo's compliance obligations.

GDPR and CCPA

If you are located in the European Union or California, additional data rights apply — including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact the organization that invited you to exercise these rights.
