Understanding Your Dashboard
A tour of Savo's main navigation and where to find what you need
When you log into Savo, the left navigation gives you access to all the core areas of the platform. Here's a quick orientation to what lives where.
Left Navigation — Section by Section
Setup Center — Appears at the top of the nav with a green dot while your onboarding checklist is incomplete. Once all Setup Center tasks are done, the dot clears. See What Happens After You Sign Up for a walkthrough of the checklist.
Dashboard — Your account home page. Shows four summary metrics — Active Sessions, Total Minutes, Total Cost, and Avg Cost per Session (all over the last 30 days) — a Sessions Over Time chart, and a Recent Sessions table listing your five most recent sessions with their status and cost.
Signal Event Library (under Signal Events) — Browse and manage your Signal Events. The library organizes events by domain category and shows both Ready-to-Use events provided by Savo and your own custom events. From here you can preview an event, use it in a new campaign, or launch Event Studio to build a custom event.
Event Studio (under Signal Events) — Design and publish custom Signal Events tailored to your specific research goals.
Campaigns
Your primary workspace for running research. The Campaigns area shows all campaigns in your account — their current status, participant counts, and progress. From here you can: - Create a new campaign - Open an active campaign to view details, manage participants, or monitor progress - See campaign status at a glance (Draft, Scheduled, Active, Paused, Completing, Completed, Awaiting Action, Cancelled) - Access the insights reports for completed campaigns
Participants (under Campaigns) — Your account-level view of everyone invited to Signal Sessions across all campaigns.
Reports
The Reports section (labeled Insights in the nav) is where campaign results live once scoring is complete. Each completed campaign generates a single Insights report, organized into tabs.
Summary An overview of the campaign at a glance. A metrics strip at the top shows Sessions Completed, Completion Rate, and Average Duration. Below that: - What We Did — a brief description of the Signal Event's purpose and what was measured. - The Big Picture — an executive summary with a lead paragraph, a list of key finding bullets, and synthesis bullets that draw cross-cutting conclusions. Every bullet connects to the evidence that produced it.
Deep Dive The full analytical breakdown, organized into three sections you can jump to using the navigation card at the top of the tab: - Key Dimensions — Findings for each area the Signal Event was designed to measure, organized by how participants scored — high (4–5), moderate (3), or low (1–2). Each finding carries a Strong, Moderate, or Limited evidence label based on the quality of supporting quotes. - Intersections — Cross-area patterns: what happens when two measured areas appear together across conversations. Surfaces both convergences and tensions. - Emergent Patterns — Bottom-up themes that surfaced without being prompted. Presented with hedged language (""leads worth exploring"") because these are hypothesis-grade, not statistically backed.
Evidence Explorer The full record of participant quotes that fed the analysis. The chooser view shows a grid of all measured dimensions with sparklines and quote counts. Select a dimension to enter the drilldown view, where you can filter by score tranche (High / Moderate / Low) and evidence quality (Story / Example / Claim), and read the AI's explanation of how each quote was scored.
Survey (when applicable) If the campaign included an optional survey, responses appear in a dedicated Survey tab.
To access a report, go to the Reports section, select a completed campaign, and click its report. Reports are campaign-level — each campaign produces one report covering its full participant cohort.
For a full walkthrough of how to read and use an Insights report, see Reading Your Insights Dashboard.
Participants
The Participants page (/participants) is your account-level view of everyone who has been invited to a Signal Session — across all campaigns. Use it to search for individuals, view their participation history, and manage their status.
This is distinct from the participant management view inside an individual campaign, which shows participants for that campaign only.
Billing
A single Billing section covers your entire financial view: prepaid balance, campaign commitments, usage by campaign, transaction history, and fund additions. See Understanding and Tracking Your Usage and Adding Funds to Your Account for walkthroughs of the billing pages.
Savo Settings
Accessible from the bottom of the left nav. Contains: Profile & Company, Payment Methods, Notifications, Team Members, Invitations, and Data & Privacy. Enterprise and Pro accounts have additional settings (Roles & Permissions, Tenants, Integrations, SSO & SCIM, API Keys, Webhooks).
