Managing Participant Lists and Invitations
Add participants to campaigns, track session status, and manage your participant pool and lists
Participants are the people who complete Signal Sessions in your campaigns. Savo gives you two places to manage them: the per-campaign participant list (added during campaign setup) and the account-level Participants page (/participants), which holds your complete participant pool and Lists across all campaigns.
Adding Participants to a Campaign
You can add participants during campaign setup (Step 3 — Audience of the creation wizard) or after a campaign is already active. Three methods are available:
Manual entry — type or paste participant names and email addresses directly. Best for small lists or one-off additions.
CSV upload — upload a spreadsheet with participant information. Your CSV should include at minimum a name column and an email column. Savo will validate the file and flag any rows with missing or malformed data before importing.
Participant pool or List — select participants from your existing account-level pool, or choose a pre-built List. Anyone previously added to a campaign in your account is available here. Using a List is the fastest way to run a follow-up campaign with the same audience.
After adding participants by any method, review the full list before sending invitations. Check for duplicates, typos, and anyone who shouldn't be included in this run.
Tracking Invitation and Session Status
Once a campaign is active, each participant shows a status reflecting where they are in the process:
You can filter the campaign's participant list by status to see exactly who still needs to complete their session.
Re-Inviting Participants
If a participant hasn't responded, there are two ways to re-engage them from the campaign's participant list:
Copy session link — copy the participant's unique session link and send it to them directly via email or another channel. This is useful if the original invitation ended up in spam or wasn't received.
Reset and Resend — select the participant and choose Reset and Resend. This removes the original session link and any prior submission and sends the participant a fresh invitation with a new link. Use this when a participant had trouble accessing their session or needs to start fresh.
Note that if you configured automatic reminders during campaign setup (Step 4 — Schedule), those will go out to eligible participants automatically — no manual action required.
Participant Lists
Lists are reusable groups of participants you can create at the account level and add to campaigns as an audience. Lists save time when running recurring campaigns with the same participant groups — create the list once, then select it during campaign setup rather than re-uploading contacts each time.
You can manage Lists from the Lists tab on the Participants page: create new lists, import participants into a list via CSV, and view list members. See Understanding the Participants Page for a full walkthrough of the Lists tab.
The Participants Page — Your Account-Level Pool
The Participants page in the main navigation (/participants) is your cross-campaign view of everyone in your account — both individual participant records and the Lists you've built. It is distinct from per-campaign participant management.
For a full walkthrough of the Participants page, its two tabs (Participants and Lists), and everything you can do there, see Understanding the Participants Page.
