Employee Listening and Workforce Pulse

Replace annual surveys with ongoing AI-facilitated conversations that capture what employees really think

Most organizations listen to their employees once a year. They send an engagement survey, analyze the responses, and share results with leadership. By the time insights surface — six to eight weeks after the survey closes — the workforce context has shifted, contributors have moved on, and the moment for action has passed.

Annual surveys aren't a failure of effort. They're a structural limitation. The instrument was never designed for ongoing listening.

What Signal Sessions offer instead

Signal Sessions create a genuinely different kind of listening experience. Participants don't fill out a form. They have a conversation — a one-on-one, AI-facilitated interview that gives them space to say what they actually think, in their own words.

A conversation invites elaboration. A survey question constrains it. That difference changes what's possible to learn.

Tell Us Your Story

Savo's Tell Us Your Story Signal Event is designed for employee listening. Available in the Signal Event Library, it uses Profile & Characterize interview mode to help employees share their experience, perspective, and what matters most to them right now.

If you need to measure specific dimensions tied to your organization's priorities — psychological safety, manager effectiveness, culture alignment, or others — you can design a custom event in Event Studio.

What the insights look like

After a campaign completes, your Insights report shows scored dimensions across your employee population, such as:

  • Psychological Safety — how safe employees feel speaking up, taking risks, and sharing concerns
  • Manager Effectiveness — how employees experience their relationship with their direct manager
  • Career Clarity — how well employees understand their path forward and what development means for them
  • Engagement — sense of connection to the work, the team, and the organization's direction

Every dimension score is backed by evidence drawn from what employees actually said. You can drill into any finding to see the specific language that drove the score — which means insights are auditable, not just directional.

Privacy built in

Every participant's identity is pseudonymized. Analysts see organizational patterns and scored dimensions, not who said what. Individual responses are protected by design. Participants can read the full privacy details in Is My Response Anonymous?.

The cadence advantage

The real power of Signal Sessions for employee listening isn't the first campaign — it's the ongoing cadence. Run quarterly or after major organizational changes. Each campaign adds a new data point: is psychological safety improving after the leadership transition? Is engagement moving in the right direction in the units where you made structural changes?

An annual survey gives you a number. An ongoing Signal Session cadence gives you intelligence you can act on in time to make a difference.
